Jagapathy Babu to do a cameo in Kannada Film?

Soon after Kannada actor Sudeep ventured into Telugu films with Eega, the news is that Telugu actor Jagapathy Babu is all set to play an important role in the Kannada film Bachchan which is being directed by Shashank.

Coincidentally, the film stars Sudeep in the lead. Jagapathy, it is said, was not only impressed with the script but also saw this as an opportunity to thank his fans in Karnataka for their love and support.

Ramesh Arvind turns author

Actor Ramesh Arvind is always on the lookout for new avenues to express himself. Not wanting to limit himself to films, the actor recently gave RJing a shot.

After completing a successful stint with the radio station, Ramesh got down to doing what he feels was "pending for a long time."

He wrote a book that reflects some of his life changing experiences and released it in Bangalore recently.

The book is called It's no fun without you. The Kannada version has been titled Kushinda Ramesh.

Next on his agenda is producing television serials.

Films, though, remain his first love, and he is expected to start work on one that he will be directing for Upendra. As an actor he has the release of the film Tunturu to look forward to.

Radhika Kumarswamy to make a comeback

Radhika Kumarswamy recently made a comeback in the Kannada film industry as a producer with Yash-Ramya starrer Lucky. Now she is all set to return to the silver screen as an actor after a seven-year break.

She will be acting alongside Aditya in their second film together. The first was Eshwar, which is yet to see the lights of a theatre. The new film will be directed by Vijayalakshmi Singh.
