There is no one like Gautham Vasudev Menon in Tamil when it comes to love stories. Even in out-and-out action films like Kaakha Kaakha or Vettayadu Vilayadu, the love scenes were extremely sensuous and romantic.

And his Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya with Silambarasan and Trisha in the lead can be described as the best romantic film to hit Tamil screens in recent times.

At present, he is remaking VTV with Prateik and Amy Jackson in Hindi.

Jiiva, fresh from the huge success of Ko, acts as a college going youngster and he has not looked so young and fresh in any of his films so far.

Samantha, who essayed the role of Jessie in the Telugu version of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa is the heroine.

Leading comedian Santhanam will play a major role for the first time in a Gautham Menon film.
