Malayalam film 5 Sundarikal has been well received by viewers.

Kullante Bharya, one of the five films in the love anthology, has been appreciated the most as its director Amal Neerad sees things from a different perspective. "We have presented the five stories as a film and I am interested in its totality. This film is special, as it came out of our friendship," he says.

Sethulakshmi, directed by Shyju Khalid, based on M Mukundan's short story called Photo, has been receiving rave reviews as well.

"Scenarist Muneer Ali told me about the story and I was hooked on to it straightaway," says Shyju, who has already made his mark as a cinematographer with films like Traffic, Salt N' Pepper, 22 Female Kottayam and Da Thadiya.

Actor Nivin Pauly and anchor-turned-heroine Nazriya Nazim first earned fame in the song Nenjodu cherthu from the music album Yuvvh.

Then they played the lead in Alphonse Putharen's Neram, which was made simultaneously in Malayalam and Tamil. The film was appreciated for its style and presentation.

Now the two actors are coming together once again in a film called Om Shanthi Hosanna, directed by debutant Lijo, who has earlier assisted Vineeth Sreenivasan.

Nivin was seen in Isha, directed by Sameer Thahir, in last week's release, 5 Sundarikal. He has completed the shooting for Sunil Ibrahim's Arikil Oraal and Abrid Shine's 1983.

Nazriya has become hot in Tamil after Neram and has landed a role opposite Dhanush in Naiyandi.
