PIX: Shriya Saran, Yuvraj attend Midnight's Children show

The premiere of Deepa Mehta's new film Midnight's Children was held on January 30, at PVR theatre in Phoenix Mills, Lower Parel, South Mumbai.

It was well-attended by film personalities, and of course, the film's star cast.

We look at the red carpet arrivals.

Looking gorgeous in white, Shriya Saran proved that she's really one of the hottest actresses in the industry today.

Actress Shahana Goswami, who plays protagonist Saleem Sinai's mother in the film, also looked gorgeous in white.

Novelist Salman Rushdie, who wrote the best-selling book way back in 1981, poses with the film's director Deepa Mehta.

Salman wrote the screenplay for the film, and was the narrator in it as well.
