Shreyas Talpade's Favourite Filmi Brothers
With his new film Teen Thay Bhai out in theatres today, all Shreyas Talpade has to do now is wait for the audiences' verdict. The movie -- starring Talpade along with Om Puri and Deepak Dobriyal -- is about three brothers, who don't get along with each other.
"I play Fancy Gill, who, true to his name, wears fancy clothes and is a struggling actor," Shreyas says. "Fancy believes that he deserves to be working only for Hollywood films as Hindi films are not in the same league as him. He is the youngest and the dumbest of the three brothers (laughs)."
Shreyas reveals that it was quite easy to play a brother to Om Puri as they have worked together once before. "Om Puri and I have worked together way back in 2004 in a film called Hangman so it wasn't difficult to work with him," he said.

Deewar
I think Deewar would be on everybody's list. The movie inspired so many other films based on a similar premise. I guess almost all of Amitabh Bachchan's movies during those times showcased different elements of brotherhood.
The movie had some exceptional performances and it still remains one of the finest works of Yash Chopra. We still quote the dialogues of the movie.
Amar Akbar Anthony
I can watch this movie over and over again. I think the most important thing about this movie was the conviction that the storyline had. It was fantastic to see three superstars share the screen space. Manmohan Desai's screenplay was fantastic.
From the dialogues to the grit and reality in the scenes, one could actually relate to the movie. With an ensemble cast, everything and everybody fell right into place.
Satte Pe Satta
This movie has to be in my all-time favourite list. It was extremely funny and had some weird and colourful characters, who were always bickering with each other, but still loved each other. The chemistry between the characters was amazing.
I still recall the scene where Amitabh Bachchan gets maried to Hema Malini and brings her home. It sends the younger brothers in a frenzy. A complete paisa vasool.
Ram Lakhan
One of Bollywood's classic brother films of all time. It was directed by one of my favourite directors Subhash Ghai. True to its masala-flick aesthetics, this movie had everything- a good brother, an evil brother, romance, action, revenge, emotion, dance. One of the most engrossing tales of brothers ever seen in Bollywood.
Karan Arjun
Again, the movie was quite convincing in its storytelling. Despite being a tried and tested formula in Bollywood, it was Rakesh Roshan's treatment and the script that made Karan Arjun better than the rest.
The motherhood element and the reincarnation story were beautifully told. It was like an old wine in a new bottle but it still remains in my favourites' list.
