Shilpa Shetty seeks solace in mom's wise words

Actress Shilpa Shetty, whose husband Raj Kundra has run into trouble with spotfixing, isn't expectedly not in the best frame of mind at the moment.
So a few words of wisdom from her mother came as a welcome breather for the 38-year-old.
'Was Low nd mom said this to me "People will hate you, rate you, shake you, and break you. How strong you stand is what makes you". Those words gave me strength immediately. Parents unconditional love and prayers put a smile on my face. Shd never take that fr granted :)' she tweeted.
Meanwhile, the couple also performed a puja, presumably to ward off the evil eye.
Raj Kundra wrote: 'A very holy day for me as spent the day doing an 8 hour long puja at home. It's all about having faith.'
Composer GV Prakash turns 26
Kollywood music composer G V Prakash Kumar, who is popularly known as GV, celebrated his 26th birthday on June 13.
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap wished him on Twitter and wrote: 'Happy birthday @gvprakash.'
Prakash, who is A R Rahman's nephew, has composed music for films like Polladhavan, Kireedam, Kuselan, Aayirathil Oruvan, Angadi Theru, Madarasapattinam, Aadukalam, Veyil and Deiva Thirumagal.
Sonam and Dhanush take Raanjhanaa around
With Raanjhnaa just a week away from release, Sonam Kapoor and Dhanush are busy touring the country to promote the film.
Sonam shared a picture (above) of them together and tweeted: 'Enroute lucknow, guys meet us at wave cinema, lucknow at 5.30!'
Meanwhile, actor Prateik Babbar is gearing up for his upcoming film Issaq.

Gul Panag, Juhi Chawla holiday in London
Actress Gul Panag, who is currently vacationing in London, shared a picture of herself and wrote: 'Lovely day spent walking around. Staying off the touristy paths. Sitting around in quaint cafes. People watching.'
Juhi Chawla also tweeted about her London trip.
