Shanghai opens poorly at the box office

Last Friday's release Shanghai got some brilliant reviews but saw a poor opening at the box office.

The film failed to attract the crowds like its predecessor -- the very commercial Akshay Kumar actioner -- Rowdy Rathore in its opening weekend. 

Trade analyst Vinod Mirani gives the box office verdict.

What works: The central theme and performances.
