Salman Khan praises Student Of The Year!

Salman Khan is all praise for Karan Johar's latest film, Student Of The Year.

The film stars Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Rishi Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Kayoze Irani, Boman Irani, Ronit Roy, Ram Kapoor, Sana Saeed and Farida Jalal.

Mandira Bedi's breast cancer ads spark controversy

The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has denied permission to set up hoardings of breast cancer awareness ads featuring anchor and actress Mandira Bedi.

Upset by the decision, Mandira shared one of the ads from the campaign and tweeted: 'Controversial?? Really? #narrowvision'

She shared another picture and added: 'The 4th creative of the campaign. Can't believe some ppl find it objectionable. Look at the bigger picture.' 

Ddirector Pooja Bhatt also slammed TMC. 'TMC's Manisha Pradhan who is of all things-Chief pollution officer, does not want a BRA shown in a awareness campaign for breast cancer... What next Thane Municipal corporation? The word BREAST removed from all breast cancer awareness campaigns as well? Pray tell!' she wrote.

Trisha Kishnan's father passes away

South actress Trisha's father passed away last evening in Hyderabad due to cardiac arrest. Some of her colleagues tweeted their condolences.

Rana Daggubati tweeted: 'Condolences to you and your entire family Trisha. Always here for you bestest. Love always @trishtrashers. May his soul RIP.'

R Madhavan wrote: 'Oh god.. Hear the sad news just now. My deepest condolences to Trisha. May her fathers soul rest in Peace.So sorry my Lady.'
