Salman Khan at the Ready music release

Salman Khan launched the music for his upcoming release Ready On April 25 at Filmcity in Goregaon, a western suburb of Mumbai, amidst much fanfare and applause.

His leading ladies Asin and Zarine Khan were also present at the event. Salman arrived at the music launch dancing to the tunes of Character Dheela atop a bus, making quite an entrance.

The Dabangg actor, who was in the best of his moods, regaled everybody present with his quips and wisecracks.

Asked if he'd ever do a superhero film, Salman said, 'I am not interested in being a superhero. I don't want to be bitten by a makdee (spider) nor do I want to wear my underwear on the outside to be a Superman. I just want to be Sal-Man."

The song Character Dheela from the film is catching on. When asked if he could relate to the song on any level, Salman quickly gave the mike to his co-star Asin and said that she would be a better person to answer the question.

Recounting his experience working on the song, Salman said that he didn't have any difficulty in picking up the steps he performed in the song and even claimed that he gave a tough time to Prabhu Deva (who directed him in Wanted) and was a better dancer than him!

Talking about his body of work in films, the Dabangg actor said that he preferred working in remakes of South films over films that are inspired from Hollywood scripts.

"I like films from the South," he said. "They always have a fresh story or an idea. I would like to go and watch a movie where I can see my hero and I don't think anyone is better than me."

When quizzed about his eternal bachelor tag, the actor was quick to reply, "I will change that soon."

At the music launch, Salman also felicitated several Filmcity staff members for their service spanning over 30 years.
