Bollywood stars are a fashionable lot. Sometimes, they look straight out of the fashion magazines but just that once in a while, they get it wrong. We decided to play fashion police, and take a closer look at how celebs stepped out last week.

Shahid and Sonam Kapoor-starrer Mausam's premiere wasn't just star-studded, it was quite fancy for a film screening event.

Ameesha Patel, who's taken to showing off her hot bod after shedding some kilos, kicked it up a notch with this daringly-plunging neckline for the do.

Not that we're complaining. Pairing the dress with a nude Dior clutch and nude pumps, Ameesha pulls off the look.

The leading lady herself dressed up in a Prabal Gurung dress for the do. Everything about the dress works -- the silhouette, hot shade of pink and the neckline spelled international elegance.

But what's up with the hair? Global chic meets retro Bollywood?

While Bipasha looked elegant, it seemed a little over-the-top for a movie premiere. Plus the bag looks a little out of place with the dress.

Sonakshi Sinha dazzled in an olive green dress at the premiere. The silhouette, the clutch, everything was perfect but the hair was disappointing.

If Bipasha was a little over-the-top, Genelia D'Souza was WAY out-of-place in a pink lehenga at the premiere.

While the actress looked fresh-faced and the outfit was cute and everything, it'd have worked better at a wedding ceremony or the many rituals that accompany it.

Rani Mukerji attended the premiere in a satin dress and paired it with a pink Bottega Veneta clutch.

Rani nearly nails the look with this one.

Tabu took disaster dressing to a newer low with this weirdly assymetrical dress that she wore for the premiere.

What a waste of a beautiful face and a svelte body. We've seen her do way better than this!

Sonam's younger sister Rhea was spotted at the premiere in an Anamika Khanna dress. While Rhea looked lovely with the makeup and the hair, the Anarkali was a little overwhelming on her.

Shraddha Kapoor was quite a sight in this lovely colour-blocked DKNY dress, ankle-strapped sandals and tousled hair.

Ayesha Takia sported a very confusing look. It was difficult to figure out where the cropped jacket ended and the strange sheer top underneath started.

The hair was a dampener too and the red lips can do only so much for damage control.
