Rate Deepika, Freida's style quotient!

Bollywood stars are a fashionable lot. Sometimes, they look straight out of the fashion magazines but just that once in a while, they get it wrong. We decided to play fashion police, and take a closer look at how celebs stepped out last week.

Freida Pinto made YET another red carpet appearance. Only this on was on home turf for GQ awards.

The actress wore a glamorous black gown but this one was one of those rare times when her look didn't quite match up with the ones she put together for her Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes premiere in the US.

Anushka Sharma was at the GQ awards in a cool green Dior gown and looked like a million bucks. We hand it out to the young actress for choosing something other than the reds, blacks and blues and rock it with fuschia lips.

Well done.

One of the best-dressed ladies in Bollywood, Gauri Khan is way ahead of several Bollywood hotties when it comes to picking out the best clothes.

Take a look at the lacework on her pretty dress and that killer pose and you'll know what we mean.

Model Angela Jonsson rocked blue at the awards show rather conservatively. A subte hint of skin would have been even better, we reckon.

Actress Shazahn Padamsee wore a cute cutout number. Everything's fine here except for the fact that it's become a predictable one-short-dress-after-another routine.

We hope she spices things up soon.

The dress would work if it was a little longer or the neckline higher up.Dangerous necklines and dangerous hemlines together do not spell fashionable, not always at least.

Neha Dhupia tried to stand out in a white suit with a plunging neckline at the awards event and pulled it off.

Kudos to her for ditching the gown and experimenting.

Actress and former model Sarah Jane Dias wore a pink backless dress. The colour looks great on her and that's about all that works with this dress.

The length again kills the whole red carpet glam look and those heels.

Mallika Sherawat walked the ramp at last week's Aamby Valley India Bridal Week for designer duo Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor in a gorgeous orange lehenga with some intricate work.

While she looked ultra-glam in a wavy hairdo and the bejeweled outfit, Mallika brought her signature sass to the ramp. Check out that pose!

Malaika Arora Khan walked the ramp in a ruffled blouse and a champagne-coloured sari. Needless to say she nails it.

Sameera Reddy dazzled all in a Shane and Falguni Peacock lehenga. The bright lehenga was beautifully offset by nude makeup and Sameera brought her A game to the ramp.

Kangna Ranaut played up the subtlety factor in a peach lehenga by Jyotsana Tiwari. Perfectly balancing the free-spirited personality with some understatement.

The actress sure learned a thing or two about posing during her Fashion days, we think.

Ameesha Patel cut a demure picture in a Rocky S creation. The colours really compliment her fair complexion.

Susanne Roshan dressed up in a breezy polka-dotted dress for the Bridal week and looked good. 

Sophie Chaudhary got the whole thing wrong by opting a leather dress with all that work. What was she thinking?

Madhoo's blue Lanvin dress fit her beautifully but she took a misstep with those blinding blue heels.

Love the shoes, the dress not so much on Sushmita Sen as she attended the Paris Hilton party. Cutout with sheer? Oh dear!

New mommy Mandira Bedi took time off from baby duty to attend the party. She wore her signature noodle straps and looked good.
