PIX: Stars attend Aarakshan premiere

Save for a couple of states in the country, Prakash Jha's controversy-ridden film Aarakshan released today to scathing reviews.

In a screening held last evening at Cinemax Versova, the cast of the film was present with the director.

Deepika Padukone, who stars opposite Saif Ali Khan in the film, arrived draped a magnificent Sabyasachi sari.

Director Prakash Jha escorts the star of his film -- Amitabh Bachchan -- to the venue. Jaya Bachchan (not in picture) was also present at the premiere.

Leading man Saif Ali Khan, who plays the protagonist Deepak in the film, looked dapper in a suit as he flashed a smile for shutterbugs on his way to the theatre.

Prateik Babbar, one of the central characters in the film, arrives.

Manoj Bajpai, who plays nemesis to Bachchan's upright character, was at the premiere too.

Model/actress Lisa Haydon dressed casually at the premiere.

Actress Tisca Chopra was spotted at the event too.
