PIX: Salman, Ajay Devgn visit Sanjay Dutt

It was a somber Wednesday evening at Sanjay Dutt's Pali Hill residence in suburban Mumbai when the actor's incarceration was just a few hours away.

The actor decided to spend the evening with his wife Maanyata and his twins and contrary to reports earlier this morning, there were no dramatic outbursts in the household.

According to his friends, Dutt was remarkably calm and controlled.

Later in the evening, close friends dropped in in support, promising that they'll take care of his family.

Salman Khan was spotted arriving with brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri.

Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn was photographed arriving at the Dutt residence.

Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan, who was also one of the visitors, have promised to look after Dutt's family in his absence.

Abhishek has, reportedly, agreed to make a guest appearance in Sanjay Dutt Productions' Hasmukh Pighal Gaya.

Fardeen Khan caught in a pensive mood.

Close friends like Apoorva Lakhia and Bunty Walia decided to stay away from Dutt on his last day of freedom, so he could have some private time with his family.

Baba Siddiqui

Politician and Dutt's good friend Baba Siddiqui was also visiting.

Maanyata and Sanjay Dutt, Mahesh Bhatt

Dutt was accompanied by wife Maanyata and Mahesh Bhatt as he proceeded to a special TADA court to surrender.

According to a source, the actor's main concern is the well being of his wife and their twins Shahraan and Iqra.
