After Katrina Kaif's trip to Fatehpur Sikri before her film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan released, Ranbir Kapoor paid a visit to Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah with his Rockstar director Imtiaz Ali to seek blessings for their upcoming film.

Director Imtiaz Ali visited the Dargah several times with his lead pair -- Ranbir and Nargis Fakhri -- while the team was shooting the film in New Delhi.

Ranbir had even stayed there while they shot the Qawwali scene in the film.

The actor-director duo was joined by singer Mohit Chauhan who's lent his voice to Ranbir's character Jordan in the film.

Arriving around 9 pm, the team first offered the chaadar at the tomb of Amir Khusro, a noted musician, scholar and poet.

They then proceeded to join the famous Qawwals of the Dargah to celebrate the conclusion of the highly popular four-day Urs of Hazrat Amir Khusro that is held every year.

Ranbir Kapoor and Mohit Chauhan also sang Kun Faaya Kun, a qawwali from the film. Ranbir accompanied Mohit on the guitar as the singer sang.

After an enchanting qawwali session that went on for about an hour, the Rockstar team proceeded to interact with the media gathered at the venue.

Rockstar will open in theatres on November 11.
