PIX: Madhuri Dixit shares stage with Bal Thackeray, Lataji

On the occasion of Lata Mangeshkar's late father Dinanath Mangeshkar's 70th death anniversary, Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray released an album by the singing doyen at Shanmukhanand hall in Sion, central Mumbai.

Actress Madhuri Dixit Nene was caught in an animated conversation with Thackeray on stage.

The actress, who recently shifted base to India after returning from the US with husband Dr Sriram Nene and their two sons, was felicitated with the Dinanath Mangeshkar award.

The Shiv Sena supremo, who shared the stage with Lata Mangeshkar and Madhuri, released the singing doyen's album Gayatri Mahamantra as well during the event.

Noted actor Vikram Gokhale was also one of the recipients of the award this year.

Lata Mangeshkar presents him the trophy as Uddhav Thackeray looks on.

Bal Thackeray also received a trophy from Lata Mangeshkar.
