The seventh season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will begin with a grand show on its debut episode on September 6.

We will see some spectacular performances from its host Amitabh Bachchan and singer Sonu Nigam, as well as from other dancers on the show.

Sonu Nigam will sing a medley of some of Bachchan's hit songs like Yarana, Yeh Dosti, Dilbar Mere and Intehaan Ho Gai.

The prize money has been increased from Rs 5 crore to Rs 7 crore in the seventh season of the hit show.

The new season will see quite a few changes like a new lifeline called Power Paplu.

But Bachchan claims that the format is not contestant-friendly.

The show's producer and director Siddharth Basu recently made his acting debut in Shootjit Sircar's Madras Cafe, and won many raves for his performance.
