Ameesha Patel, who set up a production house in 2011 after repeated attempts of reviving her acting career failed, recently unveiled her first production.

Curiously named, Desi Magic, the film was unveiled at Hype in Worli, in South Mumbai, at a press conference where the actress gave a rather odd performance, as she tried very hard to be seductive.

Dressed in a black tank top, garters and Louboutin heels with spikes, the actress tried her best impression of a seductress with a little jig.

The garish eye makeup and bubble gum orange lipstick looked rather unflattering and inappropriate for the event.

The actress, last seen in Abbas-Mustan's multistarrer Race 2, strikes an odd pose during her brief performance.

Ameesha was carried off the stage when her performance ended.

At one point, Ameesha was joined by her costar Zayed Khan.

According to reports, the actress is all set to recreate the magic of Madhuri Dixit's hit song Ek do teen from Tezaab in her new film.

The actress may have been through a rough patch but she believes that her 'good time' is back, as she told media at the do.

She poses along side Zayed and Sahil Shroff, who stars in the film too.

Dhoom director Sanjay Gadhvi, a close friend of Ameesha and co-producer Kuunal Goomer, has written the film's screenplay and dialogues.
