Get your lowdown on what's happening in the world of Hollywood, right here!

Spider-Man star Kirsten Dunst has featured nude in the newly-released trailer for her new film Melancholia.

Dunst, 28, appears naked as she lay down on rocks next to a river, and she is later shown being helped into the bath after collapsing on the bathroom floor without any clothes on, the Daily Mail reported. The movie, written and directed by controversial Danish filmmaker Lars Von Trier, follows the story of Justine, played by Dunst, as she marries Michael, played by Alexander Skarsgard.

During their wedding the party spots a red star in the sky, which ends up being the planet Melancholia, which had been previously hiding behind the sun. As the evening goes on, Justine begins to question what will happen to them if the world ends as well as her current happiness.

This results in her relationship with her sister Claire, played by Charlotte Gainsbourg, being put to the test. The movie also features Keifer Sutherland, in his first big screen performance since 2008's Mirrors, playing Claire's unusual and prickly husband.

Melancholia will release in the US on May 26.

High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale posed nude for Allure magazine's annual nude issue and explained her reasoning for participating in the nude shoot.

'I'm 25, almost 26, but people think of me as much younger because I look young,' she says. 'Being in this shoot was me saying, 'I'm not just the young girl everybody thinks I am. I'm actually a woman.'

Tisdale made sure not to reveal too much in the picture other than her back tattoo. Other celebrities who participated in the shoot include Keri Hilson, Kaley Cuoco and Bridget Moynahan.

Dennis Quaid: Cocaine was part of movie budgets

American actor Dennis Quaid has revealed that cocaine was a part of movie budgets when he first arrived in Hollywood. The star also admitted that his greatest mistake was getting addicted to it.

The Soul Surfer actor opened up about his struggles in an interview with Newsweek, where he admitted that he began using the drug casually at first, but then found himself falling deeper into a downward spiral as a result of its prevalence in Hollywood.

'Cocaine was even in the budgets of movies, thinly disguised,' Fox News quoted him as saying. 'It was petty cash, you know. It was supplied, basically, on movie sets because everyone was doing it. People would make deals. Instead of having a cocktail, you'd have a line.

'So it was insidious, the way it snuck up on everybody. Coming from where I came from -- lower-middle-class life, from Houston into Hollywood -- and all of a sudden this success starts happening to you, I just didn't know how to handle that. Doing blow just contributed to me not being able to handle the fame, which, at the time, I guess I felt I didn''t deserve,' he added.

Things spiraled out of control for the actor in the late 1980s, when he was filming The Big Easy.

'I was a mess. I was getting an hour of sleep a night. I had a reputation for being a 'bad boy', which seemed like good thing, but basically I just had my head stuck up my ass. I'd wake up, snort a line, and swear I wasn't going to do it again that day. But then 4 o'clock rolled around, and I'd be right back down the same road like a little squirrel on one of those treadmills.'

Quaid said he entered rehab after having one of those 'white-light' experiences one night, but things only became more difficult once he was sober and had to face his problems head on.

Simon Cowell has quit as judge from X Factor UK

Music mogul Simon Cowell has quit UK's Fear Factor so that he can concentrate on the US version of the show.

The Daily Mail reports that Cowell thought he would simply have too much on his plate if he agreed to be a judge on both sides of the Atlantic.

Sources claim that the producers had apparently offered to whisk him back and forth over the ocean in a private jet so he could appear on both shows. But ultimately that schedule would have proved too much even for workoholic Cowell.

Even before news broke of Cowell's stepping away, rumours were swirling about who might end up sat on this year's UK judging panel.

Singer Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly is pregnant after a secret fling with Hollywood star Benicio Del Toro.

'Kimberly is pregnant. Benicio is the father and is very supportive,' the Daily Mail quoted the actor's spokesperson, Robin Baum as telling America's Life and Style magazine.

His spokesperson, however, made it clear that they are not a couple.

'Although they are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby,' he added.

The pair managed to keep their liaison out of the spotlight and was never photographed together in public.
