Kashmira Shah launched her new calendar on Sunday, titled 'Kashessential,' where she has apparently gone topless.

The actress, who has featured in films like Yes Boss and Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha and television shows like Bigg Boss and Nach Baliye, seems to enjoy her bold reputation.

'My calendar has set a standard for many others'

"The launch was crazy!" Kashmira gushed. "People gatecrashed to have a look at the calendar, obviously for the topless pictures."

"The moment you see the first picture, you will be in a hurry to see the next. That's what is unique about the calendar," the actress continued. "All the pictures are shot aesthically. After the launch, people kept talking about the dare-bare picture. I think my calendar has set a standard for many others."

'There was a little bit of awkwardness'

So what made her go topless for the calendar? "I have played negative roles, have done item numbers and taken part in reality shows at the peak of my career," she said. "I always do something out of the box and for this one, I have really stretched myself."

Did she ever get awkward during the shoot? "Obviously, there was a little bit of awkwardness (to pose) in front of strangers but I warmed up within a few minutes and they completed the shot quickly."

'Krushna was cool with the topless picture'

Kashmira's boyfriend Krushna Abhishek had hoped that his girlfriend hadn't crossed the line, as he did not want his family to feel embarrassed.

But he 'was cool' when he saw the topless picture.

He was obviously did not have a problem with the pictures at all, as he even performed at the calendar launch.
