'Ban on Vishwaroopam. NOT FAIR!'

Bollywood stars condemned the Tamil Nadu government for seeking a ban on Kamal Haasan's new film Vishwaroopam and called it unfair as the film has been cleared by the Censor Board of India. Here's what they said:

Anurag Kashyap: 'How Can anyone decide what the film is about without seeing it? and how can the government pander to such groups?'

Madhur Bhandarkar: 'I'm appalled by the TN Govt's decision 2 ban Kamalhaasan's #Vishwaroopam. After d film has passed by d censor board. Not done!!!'

Mahesh Bhatt: 'The Supreme Court order had quashed the decision of the Uttar Pradesh State Govt suspending the screening of the film 'Aarakshan' in UP. The apex court said: It is for the State to maintain law and order situation in the State and, therefore, the State shall maintain it. It clearly sated that once the Censor Board has cleared the film for public viewing, screening of the same cannot be prohibited.'

Akshay Kumar's manager Lokesh Bali has passed away yesterday. He was the younger brother of Vikas Bali, who was associated with Akshay since the time he entered thefilm industry.

Despite not being fluent in the language, Prabhu Deva dubbed for his upcoming film ABCD – Any Body Can Dance in Hindi. The choreographer credited his sound designer Sanjay for it. 

'Frnds meet Sanjay sound designer for #Abcd,he helped me alot with Hindi for Abcd dubbing.thnks a lot 4 being so patient,' he tweeted with a picture (above).

Meanwhile, Abhishek Kapoor's latest film Kai Po Che is ready for release. '#kaipoche has got a U certificate from the censor board with NO cuts. They saw the film 4 wat it is & the spirit it is made in. I'm delighted,' he tweeted.

Ali Zafar's next film Chashme Baddoor is also ready to release. He updated: 'Chashme Baddoor to release 5 th April. March I shoot for my next one & April is the U.S/Canada tour.'

Prachi Desai gets a makeover

The actress plays a singer in the film. Her look in the promo was inspired by likes of Beyonce Knowles and Katy Perry. 

Praising her make-up artist, Prachi shared a picture of her look for the film and tweeted: 'Fab work by @tusharindulkar !!' 

She shared another picture (above) and added: ''Na jaane kahan se aaya hai!'

The film also stars Chitrangada Singh.
