With Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu up for release this week, Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor are doing everything to make sure the film is noticed.

The actor unveiled an exhibition of some of his photographs that he had clicked of Kareena at multiple locations.

"I wasn't aware at the start but later when I realised it, I was more than happy to pose for as many pictures as I could," Kareena said.

"This is the first time that a co-star of mine has clicked such kinds of candid pictures during a film schedule," she smiles.

In real life, she reveals, it is boyfriend Saif Ali Khan who is the one clicking most of her pictures.

Although she is fairly satisfied with the way Imran has candidly shot her, she thinks he is a far better actor than photographer.

"He is so chilled out in front of the camera. He doesn't have to even try," she says.

When Imran Khan was asked what triggered him to click Kareena, he said it was his passion for photography that drove him.
"It is a recreational hobby for me. I don't know how good I am at it, but photography is something that has always interested me."

But how did he manage to snap his co-star without her knowing about it?

"I clicked many of the pictures on my I-phone, and some of them on a professional D-SLR camera. Kareena is one of the most beautiful actresses with a stunningly photogenic face. The other person I have clicked so many pictures of is my wife, Avantika," he said, grinning.

'Age-wise, Kareena is just a year older than me'

There arose a lot of buzz when Imran was paired opposite Kareena, who, by the sheer body of work, is a far senior actress.

Much was also written about the unusual pairing. Imran quashed all these stories saying there is barely any age difference between the two.

"Kareena is definitely senior to me when it comes to the body of work, but age-wise she is just a year older than me. Moreover, we fit into the characters so well that once you see the film, every pre-conceived notion will go out of your mind," he says.

Asked about his off-screen rapport with her, Imran had much to share. "She is the most uncomplicated girl I have ever come across. As an actor, she is very chilled out and unfussy. By that I mean she wouldn't crib about the angle of the lens or such things," he says.

'It is unfair to compare Aamir and Imran'

Kareena is working with Imran, as well as his mama Aamir Khan in the forthcoming film, Talaash.

When asked who she thinks is the better actor among the two, Kareena gets diplomatic. "It is unfair to compare Aamir and Imran. Aamir's body of work is unbelievable. He is a lot of fun to work with. But Imran is talented as well and is quickly climbing up the ladder," she says.

'Aamir gives very boring interviews'

As the photographers kept clicking the actors, an eager fan asked Imran what goes on his mind when there are so many cameras flashing on his face.

"When the photographers are clicking me, I'm constantly telling myself "Don't make a funny face, don't give a stupid expression", because these guys will use the funniest picture of them all (Laughs). So that is exactly my mental process -- to not goof up!"

Later, Imran confessed that after giving so many interviews to journalists he feels an interview should be done without any questionnaire. "I think an interview should be an engaging conversation rather than a mechanical Q and A session."  That said, he also confessed that he never reads his own interviews.

Talking about interviews, who would Imran like to interview? When a few reporters pressed his uncle Aamir Khan's name, Imran promptly says, "No, Aamir gives very boring interviews."

"I think I'd like to interview Salman Khan. He rarely gives interviews. He is a moody person and is vague with his answers. He drops some deadly one-liners. Till today no journalist has been able to being him out. He is always very guarded in his interviews," he adds.

So what are his Valentine Day's plans? "Well there are no surprises for Avantika. I'm starting with Vishal's (Bhardwaj) film on February 14," he says.
