"Just Dance is a global platform for dancers, who are passionate about dancing," Hrithik said. "The show takes dance to another level. I am proud to be associated with the show. I believe competition pushes one to perform better."

So whom does Hrithik, whose such a fabulous dancer, get inspired from?

Michael Jackson, to begin with. And then there's Shammi Kapoor. "I feel Shammi Kapoor is the best dancer because he went beyond steps. His body just moved to music, so he had magic moments there."

"Dance for me is beyond steps," Hrithik continued. "It is an expression. When someone dances for the first time, it's because he is very happy or overwhelmed or emotionally charged. So for me, the roots of dance is like when someone dances for the first time."

Global auditions will start on February 27
