Brad Pitt has signed up to produce an Australian filmmaker's stalled Marilyn Monroe biopic, according to reports.

The 48-year-old star has stepped in to help director Andrew Dominik get his long-delayed movie off the ground as the project's producer.

Australian actor Naomi Watts was slated to play the iconic bombshell in Dominik's biopic Blonde, which stalled before shooting began in January 2011.

Pitt will produce the movie through his Plan B production company, although he has yet to decide whether he will take on a role in the film.

"We're going to get this one done," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted him as telling 24 Frames.

Pitt has previously worked with New Zealand born filmmaker Dominik on The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and gangster thriller Killing Them Softly which was in competition for the Palme d'Or at this year's Cannes Film Festival.

Dominik, rose to fame with his first feature Chopper and lives in Melbourne.

Sheryl Crow has revealed that she was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year - but has reassured fans that it is benign.

The singer-songwriter said that the tumor was discovered when she went to a hospital to be tested because she was experiencing memory loss.

"I haven't really talked about it," she said in an interview with Las Vegas Review-Journal.

"In November, I found out I have a brain tumor. But it's benign, so I don't have to worry about it. But it gives me a fit."

The 50-year-old crooner's representative, Christine Wolff, insists that it's nothing to be alarmed about, and downplayed it as a common type requiring no treatment, Fox News reported.

The tumor is called meningioma, and it's typically benign. This tumour develops from the protective linings of the brain and spinal cord.

Wolff asserted that Crow is doing great and is healthy and happy.

Prior to this, Crow has battled breast cancer back in year 2006. The nine times Grammy award winner is currently on a nationwide tour.

Despite having a career that has spanned for almost 24 years now, Julia Roberts reportedly still gets nervous on a film set, according to actress's Mirror Mirror co-star Lily Collins.

Collins revealed that the 44-year-old veteran, who was happy to advice her when they worked together, told her that filming fears never subside.

"Julia was so lovely and said, 'You know, no matter how much you've done this, you always have scenes that make you nervous and psych you out the entire time'," Contactmusic quoted Collins as saying.

"I mean I was hoping it would go away! But it was quite a relief to know nerves don't just come from being new, they come from passion and really caring about something," she added.

Eva Longoria has admitted that she is devastated about Desperate Housewives coming to an end.

The petite actress has played feisty latina Gabriella Solis on the hit Emmy award-winning TV show since 2004.

"I don't have a lot of energy right now because I was bawling my eyes out last night for hours after shooting," Contactmusic quoted her as telling Glamour magazine.

"Marcia (Cross), Felicity (Huffman) and our creator (Marc Cherry) sat in one of the sets and talked and talked for, like, two hours after everyone left. I mean it was just sad, so my eyes are really puffy right now."

"It's very emotional and melancholy - it's definitely surreal [to have come to the end], but it's so exciting to see what the next chapter in my life is going to be," Longoria added.
