Rihanna is the latest celebrity to be immortalised in wax at Madame Tussauds.

The Rude Boy singer was so happy with her replica that she immediately tweeted a picture of it, reports Contactmusic.

The singer's stylish double wears a black lace corset, fitted jacket, skinny pants and black silk heels, by Balmain, which was donated by Rihanna and is the outfit she wore to the French fashion house's show during Paris Fashion Week last October.

Madame Tussauds added diamond earrings, tennis bracelet and a ring, as well as a glittering pin on the jacket lapel of the figure, which sports the singer's trademark blonde quiff.

The singer was granted a sneak peek of the waxwork last week and 'absolutely loved it.'

Mel Gibson

Irrespective of being under fire for abuse allegations by ex-girlfriend, Mel Gibson is still as popular as he was earlier, suggests a new poll.

In the poll, conducted by Vanity Fair magazine and CBS's 60 Minutes, 847 adults were asked if they were less likely to see a Gibson film in the wake of the accusations.

According to Entertainment Weekly, 80 per cent of male participants and 72 per cent of the women who responded said they were not, reports the New York Post.

An accompanying online poll found 62 per cent of responders saying they were no less likely to see a movie starring Gibson.

However, only 20 per cent said they were less likely to see a movie starring Gibson because of allegations of abuse by Oksana Grigorieva.

In the wake of Grigorieva's accusations it was speculated that Gibson might never work in Hollywood again.

Michael Douglas

Michael Douglas, who faces 'eight-week struggle' against throat cancer, has said that he is optimistic about his chances of recovery.

During an appearance in David Letterman's Late Show, the actor said he had just finished his first week of radiation and chemotherapy. That drew a surprised reaction from Letterman.

"You've never looked better to me, and this proves that you're a tough guy, for God's sakes," the talk-show host said, drawing cheers from the studio audience, according to a CBS news release.

'Let's just say... I'm pretty lit up right now,' the New York Post quoted Douglas as saying.

The disease was diagnosed three weeks ago and a biopsy found he had late, stage-four cancer, "which is intense, and so they've had to go at it," he said.

However, Douglas said, the cancer remains above the neck and that means expectations are good, with an 80 per cent or better chance of recovery.

Former Las Vegas landlord of Michael Jackson is suing the MJ Estate.

Aner Iglesias is filing a lawsuit, claiming he never received 234,000 dollars for damage the singer allegedly caused to the home during his stay from 2008 to 2009.

Iglesias had previously filed a creditor's claim with the Estate but he said the administrators blew him off so he's decided to file the suit, reports TMZ.

According to the documents, filed in LA County Superior Court, Jackson damaged the exterior and interior of the home, and screwed up the phone and alarm system.
