Glee actor Matthew Morrison paid tribute to his late costar Cory Monteith, who was found dead in a Vancouver hotel, by dedicating a song to the actor during his concert in Manhattan.

Morrison called Monteith a brother and expressed his sadness at the actor's death, the New York Times reported.

The Glee teacher also changed his opening song to an A capella version of What I Did for Love from A Chorus Line

Meanwhile, other Hollywood celebrities took to Twitter to pay tributes.

Singer-songwriter Demi Lovato posted, '#RIPCoryMonteith... So unbelievably tragic. Please #prayforLea.'

Actress-musician Zooey Deschanel updated, 'This is such sad news about @CoryMonteith. What an absolutely tragic loss of a very talented young man.'

Rihanna wrote, 'Cory Monteith, may your spirit be at peace, and may you fly with the angels. Heartbreaking, my prayers are with all of his loved ones!'

Australian actor Hugh Jackman addressed the press in Seoul, in a promotional event for his upcoming film The Wolverine.

The actor, who had visited hot springs in Japan during a break in shooting for the  film, reportedly upset fellow bathers by failing to cover up his manhood.

The 44-year-old was all nude during his time at the hot springs and it took him almost an hour to understand that the hand towel he had been given at the entrance was to cover his private parts, News.com.au reported.

Jackman told the publication that the place is separated for male and female and they hand you a towel, a small washcloth.

He said that there are eight different types of tubs with heats of different temperatures.

The Australian actor asserted that he got so hot that he used the towel to dip into the cold water and put it on his head, but he was getting very strange looks from everybody.

The Wolverine releases July 24.

Singer Mariah Carey wears a sling while performing with the New York Philharmonic at the Major League Baseball (MLB) All-Star Charity Concert benefiting Sandy Relief in New York.

Carey was injured during the filming of the music video for her song #Beautiful

The singer's latest album, The Art of Letting Go, which she was due to release this month, might be her last with Island Def Jam, it has been revealed.

The singer has decided to take this step after delays and a lack of promotion and support by the recording label, the New York Post reported.

Music insiders told the publication that the album’s first single, ‘hash Beautiful,’ was not heavily promoted by IDJ, and Carey was disappointed by the label’s efforts.

Some insiders also blame the lack of attention to Carey on the fact that label execs were busy focusing on Kanye West’s album Yeezus.

Meanwhile, a rep for IDJ told the publication that they love Carey and her music and have fully supported her every step of the way here at Island Def Jam.
