Here comes the bride: Rani Mukerji

Rani Mukerji makes a beautiful bride in her movies.

We may have missed Rani Mukerji's bridal look, thanks to the wedding being far, far away in Italy.

So we decided to look back at Rani's onscreen dulhan avatars, to remind ourselves of how pretty she looks in all that finery:

Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna

Rani Mukerji played a Punjabi bride in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, and married her onscreen best friend Abhishek Bachchan.

She marries the son of a rich merchant (played by Shah Rukh Khan), who leaves for a business trip soon after.

Later, she falls in love with a ghost, who takes the form of her husband.

In Baabul, she gets married to Salman Khan's character, who dies in an accident.

In Hum Tum, Rani has another Punjabi-style wedding with Abhishek Bachchan.

Unfortunately, it doesn't last long, as he dies.

Even though Abhishek knows about her past, he proposes to her and both sisters get married on the same day.

Raja Ki Ayegi Baarat
