'Children Of War is a lesson in history'

Raveena Tandon, who caught an early screening of Mrityunjay Devvrat's Children Of War, turned to Twitter to share her views.

'Saw Children Of War, a film David Lean would've attempted were he a first-hand witness to the barbarism that went in formation of Bangladesh,' the 39-year-old actress tweeted.

'1st time director Mrityunjay Devvrats vision of human oppression, resilience, pain, 1 of history's worst atrocities will stay with me forever. Standing ovation for children of war ! Do go and see people , a lesson in history,' she added.

Produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by Amit Sharma, the film is a remake of 2003 Telugu film Okkadu.
