Bollywood stars are a fashionable lot. Sometimes, they look straight out of the fashion magazines but just that once in a while, they get it wrong. We decided to play fashion police, and take a closer look at how celebs stepped out last week.

When it comes to clothes (and men), Gauri Khan has great taste. And when it comes to a leather dress, few women can carry it off like her.

So it was great to see the star wife in a purple Jitroise dress when hubby Shah Rukh threw a wrap up party for Ra.One.

We think a nude lipstick would have worked better with the dress though. You like?

SRK's Ra.One costar Kareena Kapoor was present at the party too and looked pretty in a black wrap LBD. She paired it up with a very elegant pair of nude Jimmy Choos.

For her birthday bash, Arpita Khan wore an embellished Falguni and Shane Peacock dress. Smoky eye makeup and Choo shoes were teamed rounded off the look.

Quite a birthday girl, this. Isn't she?

Kangna Ranaut attended Arpita's bash in a wrinkly skirt and an odd pair of sandals. In two minds, are we?

The actress was seen later in the week attending producer Sunil Bora's birthday party in a polka-dotted Marc Jacobs dress.

This one's even more confusing than the previous one. Why that neckline? Why those sleeves?

The lovely Malaika was present at sis-in-law Arpita's birthday in a lovely but rather predictable shad of blue. She does work that hemline though.

It's not everyday that Sonakshi puts together a great look. This one was one of those days. The actress attended Arbaaz Khan's birthday party in shorts and a white shirt.

Totally digging this look on her. You?

Shahzan Padamsee was spotted at Arbaaz's do in a glittery and totally unnecessary top. We've seen her do better.

Karisma must have been out of sorts to chose that all black outfit. Not that she doesn't look good in it, but when you are Karisma Kapoor and you've never looked better, not experimenting with clothes is a disservice you do to yourself.

Bipasha was present at the product launch of Dicitex Furnishings, a home decore brand she endorses and strangely, looked jaded.

The red gown did nothing for her.
