Farah Khan is taking her new film Tees Maar Khan everywhere, and creating a lot of buzz before its release on December 24.

"If we do something more, people will start hitting us," she jokes, at yet another media interaction at Mumbai's Mehboob Studios in Bandra, a western suburb.

Sonil Dedhia catches up with her, as well at the film's cast Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. Here's what they said:

Why is Akshaye Khanna not a part of the promotions?

Farah: I've known Akshaye Khanna from a very long time. It was his wish to not be a part of the promotions. I fought with him but he insisted. He wanted people to discover him when they watch the film.

Akshay: I have become a huge fan of Akshaye Khanna. He's the surprise package of the film.

'Salman and Katrina are very good looking couple'

Farah, you said Katrina makes a good couple with Salman Khan, on Bigg Boss. Would you cast them together in future?

Farah: Yes, why not? If the script demands it, I will. They are a very good-looking couple. Akshay and Katrina make a good pair too. But the best is Czar (Farah's two-year-old son) and Katrina. (smiles)

Katrina: Czar is a very cute kid! We had fun on the sets of Tees Maar Khan

Farah: I will not ask for dowry from Katrina Kaif. (laughs)

'Madhuri is the best dancer I have ever seen'

Ajay Devgn's Toonpur Ka Superhero is releasing on the same day as Tees Maar Khan. Are you threatened?

Akshay: No. This is the festive time. We have always seen movies releasing together during the festive season. Both the films are very different; there's no point in comparing them. They have put in a lot of effort, just like us.

Katrina, who would you say is the best dancer in Bollywood?

Katrina: Undoubtedly, Madhuri Dixit. She is the best dancer I have ever seen. Shilpa Shetty is a phenomenal dancer too.

'Female directors are very strong and determined'

How different was it working with a lady director?

Akshay: I have worked with a female director before: Tanuja Chandra in Sangharsh. They are very strong and determined. They will not stop until they get the right thing. Farah asked me for 75 days but she wrapped up the film in 58 days.

Katrina: I don't think there is a difference between a male and a female director. I think you have a good director and a not-so-good director. I have been a huge fan of Farah's movies and the way she presents women so glamorously. I find her sense of comedy very funny. When I heard she was making a film, I wanted to be a part of it.

'I am going to stop dieting'

Any New Year resolutions?

Akshay: I want to do as many films as I can.

Katrina: I want to do different roles.

Farah: I am going to stop dieting. I will only go to the gym.
