Watch: Fans bid farewell to Rajesh Khanna

The first superstar of Bollywood Rajesh Khanna has passed away into the ages. He was 69.The yesteryear actor had been ailing for some time now, and had been discharged from hospital on Tuesday afternoon.

This was his third hospitalisation since he was diagnosed with a kidney problem.

Hundreds of emotional fans and industry professionals bid their last adieu to Bollywood's greatest romantic hero Rajesh Khanna whose last rites were performed by his family at Mumbai's Vile Parle crematorium amid pouring rain on Thursday.

A large number of friends from the film fraternity, including his co-star Amitabh Bachchan, united in grief at the demise of the man who created mass hysteria during his heydays. Abhishek Bachchan, Manoj Kumar, Rani Mukherjee and Karan Johar were also present at the crematorium to pay their last respects.

For a lot of Bollywood celebrities Rajesh Khanna, Hindi cinema's "first superstar", was the "phenomenon" whose "magic" will live on forever through his memorable films, dialogues and songs.

Celebrities paid their last respects by paying a visit to his residence Aashirwaad and later to the crematorium. Also many conveyed their condolences through Twitter.

Polling was completed on Thursday in Parliament House and state capitals for electing a new President in a race that appears clearly in favour of UPA nominee Pranab Mukherjee, who faces PA Sangma sponsored by some Opposition parties.

Brisk polling was witnessed in the early hours with MK Alagiri of the DMK, opposition BJD MPs led by B Mahtab and Pratap Singh Bajwa of the Congress among the early voters.

Besides the UPA and its four supporting parties - the Samajwadi Party, the Bahujan Samaj Party, the RJD and the JD(S) - NDA members JD(U) and Shiv Sena as well as the CPI(M) and Forward Bloc have declared their support for Pranab.

Age:10/12, Hobby: Designing mobile apps!

Proving that age is just a number, 12 and 10-year-old tech savvy brothers Shravan and Sanjay Kumaran are the latest child prodigies in news for their mobile phone apps that have witnessed over 10,000 downloads across the world already.

But two brothers, still in school, have launched their very own mobile applications firm. Sanjay Kumaran is a CEO at just 10 years of age, while his 12-year-old brother, Shravan, is the president of the company Go Dimensions.

Floated last December, the firm has already made rapid strides. Within two months of its launch, the first product - Catch me Cop, a mobile application - was on display at Apple's App Store. And in the next two weeks, there were some 2,000 downloads!

No wonder that it drew the attention of cnet.com, the popular website that comes out with lists of popular apps.
