The promo for Milan Luthria's much talked about biopic on the late seductress Silk Smitha is out and already creating much buzz.

Now that we've seen Vidya Balan -- who plays Silk -- sport the knotted blouses, suggestively heave her bosom and generally be the free-spirit that Silk Smitha came to be known as, we revisit the original sex symbol here through some of her performances.

In this video featured here, Silk Smita dances for Chiranjeevi, the protagonist who's born to a cop dad but lands up in a gangster's house in his formative years, in the 1984 film Goonda.

The Dirty Picture releases on December 2, Silk Smitha's birthday. The southern actress rose to fame in the early 1990s with her titillating song sequences and provocative moves.

This is the first time that the late actress's life story has been adapted for a film and Vidya has been hailed as an unlikely choice for the role, given her good-girl image.
