Until then, here's a look at how heroines, fresh after marriage, have fared at the box office earlier.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai got married to Abhishek in a grand way in 2007.

Her film Jodha Akbar released the next year, and her on-screen pairing with Hrithik Roshan was much appreciated. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the film started slow but went on to consolidate its place well.

Box office collections: Rs 68 crores.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Talaash

It's pretty much been business as usual for Kareena Kapoor Khan after marriage.

The actress played a ghost in the supernatural thriller Talaash, which also starred Aamir Khan and Rani Mukerji.

The film was a hit, and just missed the Rs 100 crore club.

Box office collection: Rs 91 crores.

Lara Dutta, Chalo Dilli

The film was a slow starter at the box office and went on to be an average runner.

Juhi Chawla, Duplicate

Juhi Chawla got married to Jai Mehta in secrecy, in a registered marriage, and there are conflicting reports about her wedding date.

When the news did come out on 1998, her next major release was Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Duplicate. It was directed by Mahesh Bhatt, who had directed her in Hum Hain Raahi Pyaar Ke earlier.

Duplicate was a flop.

Karisma Kapoor, Dangerous Ishhq
