Priyanka Chopra was bubbling with energy during a Rediff Chat with her fans on Thursday. The actress discussed her new film 7 Khoon Maaf, what makes her a good actor, and much more.

ram asked, why you are been called as piggy chops from when you got this name and how?
Priyanka Chopra answers, Unfortunately, I eat like a pig so Abhishek Bachchan decided to be funny and called me Piggy Chops. The name stuck.
rakesh asked, hi Priyanka..my question to u is that do u think that u have done ur best work so far in 7 khoon maaf????i think so..what i can make out from the teasers
Priyanka Chopra answers, I can be objective about my work but I certainly hope so.

Priyanka Chopra answers, Not at all. It is a fictional film. And usually in fiction we tell stories that are... erm... not real.

HelloPC asked, With so much success in predominant woman lead roles...Do You feel you are a league ahead of the other Bolywood actresses, how do you manage to cope with this...Do u foresee a career fall in future becuase of this?
Priyanka Chopra answers, A career fall happens to every actor; it is inevitable but I think I am in a league of my own, and I have been since my first film -- in my own head at least. I am not sure what everyone else thinks.
Gaurav asked, Hi Priyanka, congrats on your new film "7 khoon maaf". You are really hot and beautiful , I am impressed of your looks and the way you have maintained yourself. Please tell me how are you maintaining that?
Priyanka Chopra answers, I am a very lazy person when it comes to the gym but I do work almost 18 hours a day. So maybe that maintains the calories. Also I have a very happy demeanour. So I think that's the reason.

Priyanka Chopra answers, I don't think it'll look right if I play a heroine to these stalwarts of Indian cinema because the age gap will look a little odd.

Priyanka Chopra answers, Don 2 with Shah Rukh Khan; Agneepath -- which is the remake of Amitabh's original by the same name starring Hrithik, Sanjay Dutt, Rishi Kapoor; Burfi with Ranbir Kapoor, Kunal Kohli's next film; and Krrish 2 with Hrithik.

Priyanka Chopra answers, Because of the number of youth in our nation and the fact that we live in one of the greatest democracies in the world, the country is going through a revolution where our generation is very aware of the violence and corruption. So I am hoping for a better future for our children.

Priyanka Chopra answers, I am sure there will be some point when it will all dim... I won't say diminish because I want to make a place for myself as an actor who cannot be denied. So here's hoping that I will be able to do that.

Priyanka Chopra answers, The toughest co-actor was my Russian husband Alexander because of our language problems. And the cast of the film is perfect as it is.
'I can do all kinds of roles'
omkar asked, hi priyanka. how r u? u have done varied roles like the ones in aitraaz, fashion, and 7 khoon maaf. which one of these was the toughest? as a fan of urs i think u were excellent in aitraz
Priyanka Chopra answers, I think the toughest for me as of now has been 7KM because I age from 20 to 65, and it is a complex character.

Priyanka Chopra answers, Fortunately for me I have had many milestone films in my short career so far. So I cannot pick one.

Priyanka Chopra answers, Never, because I don't compromise on either.
omniscient asked, Hi Priyanka, what's this news about your tussle with Anu kapoor ? Is it a real thing or just a marketing gimmick before movie release, to grab people attention ?
Priyanka Chopra answers, I think our film has enough credibility that we don't need to resort to cheap marketing gimmicks to grab anyone's attention. I am sure you've already read what's going on in the news with Mr Annu Kapoor.
RKV asked, Hi ! Many girls sees you like a role model. how do you see the roles of in building a developed India preserving it's own cultural indentity and without getting much influenced by the western culture.? Thanks
Priyanka Chopra answers, I think with the films I do, I try and make entertainment which transcends the barriers of language. Hence, taking India beyond just the borders. When it comes to preserving out cultural identity, progress does not mean we are influenced by the western culture. Preserving our identity comes from within ourselves.
monsoon asked, Hi PC, Do not you think that experimenting with old looks like you are doing in 7KM , would alienate your young followers. I don't want to see you married to 60 year olds yet. Should you not do roles more suitable to your age at least for few years? Why experiment with character roles?
Priyanka Chopra answers, I am an actor and I can do all kinds of roles. For instance, playing a cop in Don 2 or doing Kunal Kohli's film with Shahid or Anjana Anjani with Ranbir, who are actors my age, and playing a 60-year-old woman with Naseeruddin Shah. I think it just makes me a better actor.
