Mahesh Bhatt: Meera needs medical help
Mahesh Bhatt, who has been pleading with the government to pardon the 80-year-old Pakistani citizen Dr Saiyyad Mohammad Khaleel Chishty, who was convicted of murder after a 19-year-long trial, has no respite from controversies.
Pakistani actress Meera, who made her debut in Hindi films with Nazar -- directed by Mahesh Bhatt's wife Soni Razdan -- fell out with them soon after, and had accused him of slapping her. The filmmaker, of course, denies it.
'At a time when one is trying to obtain a pardon for Dr Chishti, comes this irresponsible allegation by Meera to the Indian press. Meera has alleged that her career in Bollywood has not taken off because of me. She also claims that I slapped her,' Bhatt tweeted.
He suggested that Meera should go for counseling. 'She had said something close to this in the past. I ignored it then. But now I need to say thus far and no further. Meera needs medical help and counseling. I hope this filmy trivia won't obscure the more serious issue of obtaining pardon for the 80 year old Pakistani prisoner Dr Chisty !' he added.
Quite like Bollywood's cross-border drama, isn't it!

Get ready for Gandhi To Hitler
Neha Dhupia announced on twitter that her upcoming film My Friend Hitler has been rechristened.
'The title of our next release has been changed from 'Dear friend Hitler' to now 'Gandhi to hitler'.... From what I was told the controversial word in the previous title was friend... That's why the change! Just in, for the international cut the title still remains 'Dear friend Hitler'.' Neha tweeted.
It appears that the makers of the film can't really make up their minds about the title yet. Neha tweeted later: ''Audience poll time...Getting mixed responses on the titles.. So which one do u guys prefer, 'Dear friend Hitler' or 'Gandhi to Hitler.'

Bachchan's way of movie-making
Want to make a movie? Amitabh Bachchan tweeted some pointers behind the rapid wrap-up of his latest film Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap.
''Bbuddah' completing rapidly .. lessons learnt .. one nonstop schedule of barely 40 days and strict budget of 10.5 cr !! Music and dance a freedom of the human spirit .. every time you sing or dance an emotion a smile on the face ... such a joy. Satellite sale covers cost of production and more for the film .. theatre and all else profits. Did the same for 'Paa', now 'Bbuddah'. Matching the dance steps of the younger lot today is a nightmare for me ..desperately rehearsing in spare time to not look foolish !!' he tweeted.
