The actress whose movie Aisha released last Friday, is Maxim India's hottest girl this year.

Sonam took the number one spot, pipping other beauties like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and last year's winner Bipasha Basu.

Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sihna smile during the music launch of their upcoming movie, Dabangg, in New Delhi.

The film, produced by Arbaaz Khan and Dhiun Mehta and directed by Abhinav Singh Kashyap, also stars Arbaaz Khan, Sonu Sood, Vinod Khanna, Dimple Kapadia and Malaika Arora.

The music of the film has been composed by Sajid-Wajid.

Dabangg is about the unlawful practises in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and the alleged involvement of police in it, which tries to underline the flaws and loopholes in the whole system.
