A celebrity football match was organised on Independence Day between Salman Khan's Bollywood team and neta Baba Siddiqui's team of politicians. It was held at Supari Talao Grounds in Bandra, in the western suburb of Mumbai.

Salman's team had actors like his brother Sohail, Ranbir Kapoor, Dino Morea, Vatsal Seth and choreographer Ceaser (of Bosco-Ceaser fame). They played for a cause -- to support Salman's non-government organisation, Being Human.

Salman seemed to shrugg off Shah Rukh Khan's two-hour detainment at Newark airport last Friday, as he said: "Isme kaunsi badi baat hai (what's the big deal?). Everybody goes through frisking. Because of a few Muslims, all Muslims have to face this kind of scrutiny. It is only because of such strong security, America hasn't had another 9/11."
