Hrithik Roshan's Agneepath created a box office record with it's first day collections on Republic Day, and the film industry tweeted their hearty congratulations.

R Madhavan tweeted: 'Agneepath was fantastic. Hrithik was extra ordinary. film was spectacular in all deprtmts. Total Hindi PHILUM after a loong time.Must watch.'

Kamaal R Khan feels that Hrithik has given the Khans a shock. 'Agneepath is just fantastic as I was expecting. @kjohar25 is sharp businessman who changed full story except name Agneepath. I m sorry to @kjohar25 n his team. Congrats sir. Your film has made the history n broken the record of Bodyguard. Hrithik is superstar now. @iHrithik congratulation bro. But ye kayaa kar Rahe ho yar! Ken Ghosh wrote: 'Hearing great things about Agneepath....looking like a 19-20 cr opening day'

Director Roshan Abbas wrote a brief review of the film: 'Agneepath: first half...brilliant! Brand new thought n execution!! Dharma has killed it. U need roles like Agneepath to see what @iHrithik is capable of! He is brilliant! @priyankachopra sparkles! This lady is spunky, sexy and savvy! Unafraid and uninhibited. But to see rishi kapoor sink his teeth into the pathan villains role was a special treat! U sir are amazing. Sanjay dutt takes off where he left of in the end of Vaastav, the bald pate adds menace! A formidable mountain of a villain! The true hero of #agneepath is @karanmalhotra21 ! Such direction makes u stay glued to the seat for 3 hrs! Got to see it at Chandan again!'

Prateik Babbar wants to watch the film again. 'Agneepath.. @iHrithik has KILLED it.. WOW! and such GOOD bad guys.. scary Sanju Dutt and Rishiji.. gotta see AGAIN .... but when?' he wrote.

Desi fashionista Sonam Kapoor is making waves in the west. 

Designer Jean Paul Gaultier shared a picture of Sonam and him together from his show in Paris and wrote: 'With the sublime @sonamakapoor after the show (in a JPGaultier total look, bien-sur!)' 

Sonam, on the other hand, was in tears after watching his show. 'You're show was sublime I was in tears..'

'Had the best best time in paris. Almost home. Nothing like mumbai city,' she later added.
