Heavy rains create havoc in Bollywood

Heavy rains in Mumbai have made life difficult for Bollywood's movie stars, and they complained on twitter. 

Bipasha Basu's neighbourhood was flooded, making her wish for a gondola with a handsome driver. 'Surprised to step out of my house and find myself in Venice! Just need to swap my car for a Gondola and my driver for a handsome gondola guy!' she tweeted.

Ameesha Patel tweeted: 'What heavy rains. So wish I didn't have to go anywher. Killer traffik on roads. Its just madness.'

Shekhar Kapur was stuck in traffic. 'From Juhu 2 airport have been on the road for 2 hours already. Mumbai breaks down in rains,' he wrote.

Jackky Bhagnani insisted that people get boats. 'ok guys all the people in mumbai get ur boats and rafts out we can pretend like we r in venice for as long as it lasts :)' he wrote.

Sandhya Mridul seemed upset with the rains. 'One night of rain and can sadly see the city falling apart already .. When will we be ready?!' she tweeted.

Riteish Deshmukh: I am not getting married

Riteish Deshmukh seems upset with rumours of him tying the knot with Genelia D'Souza.

'Recently Newspapers have been deciding - to WHOM I am getting married to- HOW m getting married & WHEN am getting married. Please don't decide it for me -I shall let you know when I do. Just to clarify-right now I have no such plans.- warm regards,' he tweeted.

Before Kalki became an actress

Did you know Kalki Koechlin used to sell popcorns in a theatre before she became an actress? Now, her upcoming film The Girl In Yellow Boots will be screened at the same place.

Hubby and director Anurag Kashyap tweeted: 'TGI Yellow Boots screens 9th july at Cineworld Trocadero,8.30pm,its the same theatre where Kalki sold popcorn 7yr ago when she was studying. Life comes a full circle for Kalki .. her movie screens at a theatre where she once sold popcorn and ushered people.'

Emraan Hashmi, on the other hand, wanted to play in villain in Murder 2. Mahesh Bhatt tweeted: 'Do you know Emran Hashmi wanted to play the role of the demonic villan in Murder 2? Prashant Narayan has done a great job as a villan.'

Amitabh gets nostalgic

Amitabh Bachchan, who is still promoting his movie Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap, was in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, for a press meet.

Amitabh tweeted, 'In Amdavaad/Ahmedabad.. and nostalgic .. last here for tourism promotional work ..no rain still.. a worry .. felt a lot of it enroute.'

The actor was also overwhelmed with the response he received: 'Are baap re baap !! Just back from a cinema mall visit ... just unbelievable !! Massive crowds,' he tweeted, and posted a picture (above).
