Yesteryear actress Simi Garewal may have been in for a rude shock. Amitabh Bachchan, who appeared on her iconic celeb show many years ago, made a rather snarky comment about her new show India's Most Desirable.

'Simi's new film: Jawan Hogi Teri Maa' he tweeted.

Big B wasn't the only one to make such a joke. Roshan Abbas, who is making his directorial debut with Always Kabhi Kabhi this Friday, chimed in, 'At 64 Simi still looks young !!! I wonder if she will do movie and call it 'Buddhhi hogi teri ma'...' he tweeted.

Amitabh Bachchan was in New Delhi on Monday to promote his upcoming film Aarakshan's promotion and was mighty impressed with the city's infrastructure.

'Whoever is responsible for New Delhi looking like this needs a pat on their backs ..a delight .. from the airport to the main avenues. But coming to Delhi after a while and .. what a fine city it looks .. clean and beautiful, green, organized ..well done Delhi !! press meet for 'Aarakshan' tried hard to maintain protocol and etiquette in not bringing up #BHTBaap, but some dear ladies insisted. so had to relent ..they wanted to hear me say #BHTBaap ..!! So eventually with due respect and permission from Prakash ji, did it,' he tweeted.

Minissha Lamba is also in Delhi for promoting her film Bheja Fry 2, releasing this Friday. 'Day 2 of promotions in Delhi. Love driving on d Capital's smooth roads. Monday is now officially #BhejaFry day. What sud v call Tuesday?' she updated.

Stand-up comic and actor Vir Das related to an interesting incident from an event for his Delhi Belly promotions. 'Journo: In trailer you are bald. Me: Yes Aamir wanted some skin show. J: huh? Me: I'm joking J: huh? Me: It's crucial to my character's arc. Journo: movie has swear words? Me: yes. J: how did it feel? Me: uh...normal? J: normally you swear? Me: yes. J: tsk tsk ok thanks *click*' he wrote.
