It seems Shah Rukh Khan will have to wait for his visit to Patna. Due to security issues, the local authorities had to cancel his Don 2 promotional tour to the city.

A disappointed Shah Rukh tweeted: 'Was super excited with my first ever visit to Patna but distt authorities said sum security issue. Will come sum other time. Damn..!!! Bags packed...plane ready...my bihari accent was also being worked upon. Feel awful couldn't make it...but insha Allah will go there soon.'

Meanwhile, his fans protested yesterday outside the P&M Mall in the city, resulting in an hour-long clash with the local police.

However, there's good news for his Nagpur fans. SRK is in the city and asked fans to bring books for him.

'Desperately seeking a good book to read. Kindle dried up...bookstores out of bounds...heading to Nagpur would have been nice if I had a book. Enroute to Nagpur...the tour begins for the chase continues film. I really lov meeting u all in the garb of film promotions. DON is ON... So if u r in Nagpur and have the time I would love it if u get me books...remember to write ur twitter handle please on the book,' he added later.

Don 2 will release on December 23.

Bollywood remembered two time National-award winning  actress Smita Patil on the eve of her 25th death anniversary yesterday.

Amitabh Bachchan tweeted: 'Smita Patil's death anniversary to day .. how time flies .. was shocked beyond belief .. a soft gentle countenance, yet tough beliefs. Smita had premonition of my Coolie accident .. had called for the first time ever in Bangalore to ask if I was well .. had bad dream. Smita would feel most uncomfortable in escapist commercial cinema .. she wondered how she would go by Namakhalal .. but she did super.'

Shabana Azmi wrote: 'Remembering Smita Patil. In public memory we are joined 2gether as part of parallel cinema. I could be Shabana Patil and she Smita Azmi.'

Shabana Azmi is all set to play a corrupt politician in her upcoming film. The actress shared a picture of her look for the film and asked for feedback.

'Hi friends How is this look for a corrupt politician in a forthcoming film?' she tweeted with the picture (left).

She seems to have dressed up like Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati but we will have to wait for her to spill the beans herself!
