Amitabh Bachchan, who carried the Olympic torch on Thursday, said he felt proud and honoured and turned to Twitter to thank his well-wishers.

'What can one say ?? Olympic Torch, thousands of fans and cheering people lining the streets, and me given the pride of position. And thank you for the glorious messages you have sent me on mobile and twitter. For me, for the Industry, for India honor and pride! The dignity and the respect that a billion plus Indians give me, shall ever remain in my heart. Indebted, honored, humbled !!' he tweeted.

The 69-year-old actor, who brought the torch through Southwark in South London, added that the experience was indescribable: 'Faced many situations where enormity of crowd and its response, was unbelievable. But today with Olympic Torch it was indescribable.  In times when humanity tears each other apart, it was special to be in an event that brought communities together .. beyond all else.'

Sunny Leone arrives in Mumbai
