The Cannes Film Festival -- that takes place every year at the Palais des Festivals et des Congres, in the resort town of Cannes, in the south of France -- has begun.

And just like every year, eminent film personalities from around the world have started trickling in to be a part of this extravaganza, which is in its 64th year. Here's a look at some of the Hollywood faces that made it to day one:

Rachel McAdams

The Canadian actress, who stars in Woody Allen's new film Midnight In Paris, looks regal in a white dress as she poses during a photocall for the film.

The film is a romantic comedy shot in the French capital and brings together a broad international cast.
