We look at the most talked-about morphed photographs of movie stars in 2011.
Amidst new releases, hits and flops, debuts, magazine covers and calendars, we chanced upon several morphed photographs of actresses doing rounds of the internet throughout last year.
While posing in a lingerie is not considered a tabboo anymore, what caught the surfers' eye was the fact that the said pictures featured actresses who were the most unlikely to strip to that level. The pictures were, of course, morphed.
Here's looking at some of the most talked-about con jobs of 2011.
Anushka Sharma
The Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl actress may have shed clothes for her second film Badmaash Company after proclaiming that she'd never expose for films but there was no way she'd wear such a skimpy piece of garment.
It finally turned out to be a morphed picture of the 23-year-old actress.
Kajal Aggarwal
Southern siren Kajal Aggarwal cried foul when this FHM cover featuring her sitting cross-legged in a cute dotted pantyhose surfaced online.
While its authenticity or the lack of it hasn't been substantiated, the picture looks tastefully done.
Veena Malik
This could easily be termed the biggest photo controversy of the year.
Since it made an appearance online, there have been reports of the Pakistani actress being disowned by the family, the actress suing the magazine guys for tricking her and her father disowning his own daughter for her 'disrespectful' acts.
Veena even caused alarm when she went untraceable for a couple of days before resurfacing in a suburban Mumbai hotel.
FHM magazine claims, however, that the picture is not morphed.
Vidya Balan
Vidya Balan may have done a daring act in The Dirty Picture but this one still stumped her fans.
When did she got that body sculpted enough for an aesthetic bikini shoot? THAT's what gave the picture away.
Maxim magazine later confirmed that the picture was morphed.
Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi Sinha may have lost oodles of weight to kickstart her Bollywood career but the actress has stated that she'd never expose for film roles.
This fake picture made its way some time in the middle of the year.
Asin
Ready actress Asin also featured in a morphed photograph online.
Wearing a skin colour two-piece, the actress was seen standing seductively with a purple-coloured wall behind her.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her baby
Soon after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave birth to her baby girl, the internet was flooded with morphed pictures of her with a baby.
This one was a no-brainer as the Bachchans are yet to officially release pictures and have been extremely secretive about the baby.
This picture was, in fact, tweeted by pa-in-law Amitabh Bachchan himself, who seemed to be quite amused by it.
