The commitment-phobes of B-Town

In her latest film Break Ke Baad, Deepika Padukone plays a girl who isn't looking for anything serious. Even her co-star Imran Khan played what was apparently an anti-romantic in I Hate Luv Storys earlier this year.

Yet there's no need to look on-screen to see commitment-shy actors and actresses. Here's a list of ten people who are, or have been, significantly single:

Ranbir Kapoor

Most recently outed by exes Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor on Koffee With Karan, Ranbir apparently has quite the appetite for variety.

And, going by the gossip, he doesn't let his being in a relationship get in the way of having a good time.

Salman Khan

He might have the prettiest looking girlfriends in Bollywood, but neither that string of beauties -- from Somy Ali to Aishwarya Rai to Katrina Kaif -- nor his age could yet persuade confirmed bachelor Salman Khan to tie the knot. 

Sushmita Sen

Sush broke off with her Delhi boyfriend weeks after being crowned Miss Universe, and since then has dated several men -- from filmmakers to industrialists -- without feeling the need to commit.

She's a defiantly single mother, one who doesn't fear stereotyping.

Sonam Kapoor

Gossip has always followed around the pretty Sonam Kapoor.

There has been much whispering about an alleged involvement with her first co-star Ranbir, and the actress has been linked to Cyrus Sahukar and director Punit Malhotra as well.

She isn't sharing details, and, in her own words, says she's too young to commit.

Akshay Kumar

He might be a happily married man now, but back in the day, Kumar's prowess as an industry casanova was legendary.

Kangna Ranaut
