A look at Hindi movies that have crossed the Rs 100 crore benchmark in their box office earnings in the recent times.
Karan Johar's Agneepath is the latest film to join the Rs 100 crore club, as it has done phenominal business at the box office since its release on Republic Day. In fact, it saw the biggest opening ever at Rs 25 crores on the day that it released.
We look at the other movies that are a part of this elite club. Media professional and industry observer Abhijit Mhamunkar lists them for us.

Ghajini

Aamir Khan's Ghajini was the first Hindi film to reach this benchmark. Released in 2008, the film took nine days to reach this level.

3 Idiots

Aamir Khan repeated the feat the next year as well, with 3 Idiots.
Within nine days of its release, the film collected Rs 100 crore at the box office. 3 Idiots was the only film in that year to be a part of this elite club.
