PIX: The sexiest item girls are married!
Glamour and attraction are the body and soul of item numbers. Regardless of the superficiality in its content, an item factor
amplifies the appeal of a star making them instantly irresistible. And ardor is what every actress with a short shelf-life strives for.
So it's no surprise how everybody, from Katrina Kaif to Deepika Padukone, wants to be a part of the item song mania. It's not entirely an eligible bachelorette monopoly. Turns out the married actress refuses to be treated any less special and seeks her share in the booty.
Don't believe us? Take a look.
From Sexy Sexy (Khuddar) to Sarkailo khatiya (Raja Babu), Karisma Kapoor's evocative gyrations in the 1990s created quite a furor. The blue-eyed A-lister gradually went on to gain credibility with her restrained performances in films like Raja Hindustani, Dil To Pagal Hai and Zubeidaa.
And then she chucked it all to play better half to businessman Sanjay Kapur and raise their two babies.
The 37-year old stunner is now back and has picked two, rather unusual, projects to mark her return to the silver screen. For starters, there's Vikram Bhatt's 3D Horror flick, Dangerous Ishq. She is also expected to put in an item song appearance for Sajid Khan's Housefull 2.
While it's hard to feel excited about these films, the prospect of seeing Govinda's favourite arm-candy, back in action sounds promising.

Malaika Arora Khan
The curvaceous bombshell paints a pretty picture with hubby Arbaaz Khan. But there's more to Bollywood's most effortless sex symbol than topping 'celebrity couple' polls.
Malaika's scorching moves on the dance floor; be it to beats of Kaal dhamaal, Hoth rasiley or Munni badnaam, has young men squealing with joy while inspiring starlets to up their hotness ante.
Most importantly, the Dabangg babe's brand of oomph makes it hard to perceive her as a happily-married mommy of an eight-year-old boy named Arhaan.

It's only fair that the star responsible for starting the trend of reviving careers with a scene-stealing item song, namely Rakshak's Shaher ki ladki, should feature in one during her comeback vehicle post-marriage and babies.
Though Raveena Tandon's saucy jig, Main Chandigarh di star was dropped out of the Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap's final cut, it generated enough buzz to underscore the mast-mast status of Tandon's popularity.

Neither language nor marital status proved much of a deterred for the gorgeous Czech import, Yana Gupta. Yana made a splash in Hindi films with her zingy moves in Dum's Babuji dheere chalo.
Proving she's no flash in the pan, the flawless beauty flaunted her sexiness to the roof, yet again, in Rakht's Oh, what a babe.
Though she's separated from husband, Satyakam, Yana's romance with Bollywood continues through seductive acts like Chalo Dilli's Laila and Murder 2's Aa zara.

Being Mrs Champaklal Zaveri may have spoiled Bindu's chances at nabbing leading lady roles but the voluptuous dancer proved her worth as one of Bollywood's hottest successor to Helen with memorable cabarets like Kati Patang's Mera naam hai Shabnam and Zanjeer's Diljalon ka dil.
Not just limited to lending glamour in song 'n' dances, Bindu's claim to fame also includes playing the legendary Mona Darling apart from a scheming vamp and malicious mother-in-law in innumerable films.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Okay, so it's not exactly in the same league as Kajra re or Ishq kamina.
Even so it's the only time Mrs Bachchan took a break from performance-oriented dramas to let her hair down and go blow-your-brains-out glam as the retro, sultry diva protesting over the misgivings of marriage in Zor ka jhatka, Action Replayy.
Needless to say, the afore-mentioned quandary doesn't resonate with Ash's real-life scenario, a fairy-tale wedding to Abhishek with whom she's expecting their first child in November.

If you thought soap stars are all about maang tikkas and pati parmeshwars, think again. Doli Sajake's Barkha Bisht insists you do.
The leggy actress who's married to model-turned-television actor Indraneil Gupta turns up the heat in the collective presence of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif for Rajneeti's groovy club song, Ishq barse.

Wait, there's more to Shweta Tiwari. The spunky star put together all her charms to tempt and tease as the item girl in Bin Bulaye Baarati's Dil ka achar. Too bad the film turned out to be a real pickle.
