Bollywood celebrates Janmashtami!

While celebrities like Hrithik Roshan and Emraan Hashmi attended dahi handi events in Mumbai today, others took to Twitter to wish their fans on the festival.

Ajay Devgn tweeted: 'Wishing everyone a very Happy Janamashtmi!'

Sonakshi Sinha ‏tweeted: 'Aye! Matki todd rrreeee!!! Go go go govindaa! Happy janmashtmi! Broke my second real life dahi handi today.'

Raveena Tandon celebrated at the temple with her children, and tweeted: 'Off to iskon,darshan and yummy prasad lunch!What a nice feeling,got my kids and their friends at the back of my car,wearing traditional. And singing gopala songs that are playing on the Radio and chanting hare krishna loudly!!l'

Singer Shreya Ghoshal tweeted: 'Happy Janmashtami!! Go go go Govinda!! May Lord Krishna bless you with sukh shanti samriddhi:)'

Madhur Bhandarkar ‏wrote: 'Jai shri Krishna.Happy Janmashtami may lord shower his blessing on u & your loved ones.'

Meanwhile, it's director-choreographer Prabhu Deva's first Janmashtami in Mumbai. 'Happy Janmashtami Frnds..first time I'm in Mumbai n will see how the festival is celebrated..My kids have also come here to see it,' he updated.

Priyanka Chopra shared the latest track Main Kya Karoon from her upcoming film Barfi!, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Ileana D'Cruz. 

The song has been sung by Nikhil Paul George and the music has been composed by Pritam. 

Barfi! will release on September 14.

Sridevi, who is all set to make a comeback with English Vinglish, is the latest Indian actress to join the social networking site.

The actress shared a picture of her family and tweeted: 'A big thank you from my family and I for the warm welcome. Here's a picture of us which Jahnvi insisted I share.' 

Priyanka Chopra has resumed shooting for Krrish 3. 'Olrite guys!!Krrish calling...gotta go help save the world!Thx for a loving morning..sometimes when there is no explanation depend on faith!' she tweeted.

Randeep Hooda is dubbing for Heroine as well shooting for John Day. 'Almost finished dub for heroine today and last 2 days of this schedule for JOHN DAY .. Shooting all night again ;)' he wrote.

Raj Kundra ‏is shooting for his show Super Fight League. 'Off to the studio now to shoot the last weigh in's of the quarter finals of @SFLChallengers and tomorrow we shoot the last fight of the same,' he wrote.
