Anurag Kashyap shoots with Amitabh Bachchan

Anurag Kashyap and Amitabh Bachchan, who hadn't seen eye to eye for a while, have long buried the hatchet and were caught in an animated conversation at the premiere of Bedabrata Pain's Chittagong in October last year.

The filmmaker recently shot for a short film with Bachchan, as part of an experimental compilation of short stories.

'Shot with @SrBachchan today . Awesome fun. His childlike enthusiasm blew everyone. Crew in awe.. And also shot with his staff.. Great excitement all day around Prateeksha. It's a short film .. Details later..' Kashyap tweeted.

Amitabh Bachchan was excited about the shoot too. 'A shoot with Anurag Kashyap, and an evening spent in creative discussion .. exhilarating !! Need more such ... starved for it !!' the 70-year-old star updated.

Now, Kashyap is looking forward to work with Bachchan on a commercial Hindi film by the end of this year.

Neil will be next seen in Race 2, David, Tera Kya Hoga Johny, and 3G.

Pritish Nandy, who turns 62 today,, was also flooded with birthday wishes on the microblogging site.

Farhan Akhtar wrote: 'Here's wishing @PritishNandy a happy birthday. have a super year.'

Ranvir Shorey tweeted: 'Happy Birthday, Sir. May you inspire for many more years!'

Director Hansal Mehta wished him too: 'Happy Birthday @PritishNandy. And a big thank you to the people who introduced me to you!'

Nandy is currently producing the sequel to his 2006 hit film Pyaar Ke Side Effects titled Shaadi Ke Side Effects.

It will star Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar.

Bollywood stars praise Sudhir Mishra's Inkaar

Bollywood stars who attended the premiere of Sudhir Mishra's latest film Inkaar, were all praises for the film.

Sonakshi Sinha goes retro!

Sonakshi Sinha recently shot a retro-style song for the remake of 1983 film Himmatwala.

The actress shared a picture of her retro look from the sets and tweeted: 'Thank god its friday! No no i havent lost track of time, its the awesome song im shooting for 'himmatwala'... Last day of shoot today! Had a blast revisiting the 80's, before i was even born :p'

The song ahs been sung by Sunidhi Chauhan.

Directed by Sajid Khan, Himmatwala stars Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah in lead roles.
