Hollywood star Angelina Jolie reportedly teared up when partner Brad Pitt gathered their six children and proposed to her.

Pitt, 48, made efforts for a year to design the perfect engagement ring for his partner and when he gathered the rest of their family -- children Maddox, 10, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox -- to present it, she was overwhelmed by the gesture, reported Us magazine.

The ring was made by jeweller Robert Procop and the diamond engagement piece in a shape of a tablet is estimated to be worth $ 250,000.

'The children were swept with joy after Brad proposed, after seven years of togetherness, she put the ring on and went around to show it to each of the kids. Angie considers herself bonded to Brad for life,' a source said.

American Bandstand host Dick Clark passed away after suffering a heart attack.

The 82-year-old longtime television producer and host had been at St John's Hospital in Los Angeles after undergoing an outpatient procedure but suffered the heart attack following the procedure and died after unsuccessful attempts to resuscitate him, reported TMZ online.

Throughout his career, the small screen legend earned the nickname 'America's Oldest Teenager' due to his eternally
youthful appearance.

In addition to American Bandstand and New Year's Rockin' Eve, Clark also served as a longtime Top 40 radio countdown host, hosted five versions of the game show Pyramid since 1973, and served as chairman and chief executive officer of Dick Clark Productions, which he had sold part of in his final years.

Clark had a history of health problems. He was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 1994, which he kept private until 2004, the year he suffered a stroke that forced him to retire as host of New Years' Rockin' Eve. Clark created the program in 1972 and earned a Peabody Award for his coverage. He was only unable to host twice until his stroke.

Though Ryan Seacrest has since taken over, Clark made annual appearances.

Michael Jackson

King of Pop Michael Jackson's former British bodyguard is seeking legal aid to prove he is the biological father of the late singer's youngest son.

Martial arts master Matt Fiddes, who protected the Thriller hitmaker when he was in the UK, is going to America to demand the right to see 10-year-old Blanket, whose birth name is Prince Michael Jackson II, reported Daily Mail.

Fiddes claims to have provided Jackson with sperm donation in a London hotel a year before Blanket was born in
2002.

'I am going to lodge my DNA and formally ask the Jacksons for access. I want visitation rights,' Fiddes said.

Apparently, he has alleged that Jackson's family never answered his letters or spoke to him since the singer's death
in 2009.

He has claimed that Jackson revealed to him that he was Blanket's real father in November 2002, after he infamously
dangled the then nine-month-old child over a hotel balcony.
