Akshay, Sonakshi start shooting for Thupakki remake
After finishing the promotions for Dabangg 2, Sonakshi Sinha has moved on to her next film. She has started shooting for AR Muragadoss' Hindi remake of Thupakki, opposite Akshay Kumar.
'Because I only talk about a film AFTER I've signed it, it's my pleasure to share with you'll that we started shooting the thupakki remake today :) looking forward to working with this team!' Sonakshi tweeted.
According to reports, actresses like Diana Penty and Parineeti Chopra had been vying for the role. Sonakshi will be playing a boxer in the film.
Meanwhile, she's also excited about Dabangg 2, releasing on December 21. 'Oh and it's hudd hudd dabangg time! Watching the film tonight... You??' she added.
Shilpa Shetty returns to work
Maternity leave is over, and Shilpa Shetty is back to work.
The actress will be judging reality dance show Nach Baliye 5, along with director Sajid Khan and choreographer Terence Lewis.
She shared a picture from the sets (above) and tweeted: 'On the Sets,shooting for Nach Baliye..wearing an arpita mehta sari and lovvvee these @maheepkapoor earrings..Stunning!'
Television actor Karan Wahi, who is contestant on the show, wrote: 'Shoootin fr nach baliye5......with our special guests today...shoaib malik n sania mirza.'
Danis Tanovic visits Anurag Kashyap's sets
Oscar winning director and screenwriter Danis Tanovic (who directed No Man's Land) is in India and visited the sets of Anurag Kashyap's next film Ugly.
'Guess who is on my sets,' Anurag tweeted with a picture of them together (above)
The Bosnian-Belgian filmmaker also tweeted a picture from the sets and wrote: 'Anurag shooting on streets of Mumbai.'
Kashyap and Tanovic are making a Hollywood film together, starring Emraan Hashmi.
Mallika Sherawat's latest celeb picture
In her infamous series of celebrity spottings, Mallika Sherawat's most recent picture was taken with America's business tycoons Bradford Freeman and Jerry Perenchio.
